AFTERLIFE is an immersive, multi-room art experience about death and transformation – a playful look at our own relationship to the fact that “we’re all gonna die.” Audiences move through a series of experiential rooms combining music, film, performance, and installation art, examining the many ways we humans think (or don’t think) about mortality and the mystery of what comes after it.

COLLABORATORS
In developing this new work, we asked ourselves: “What changes when we fully acknowledge that we will die?” Rather than framing death as an endpoint, Afterlife explores it as a threshold – a reminder of our entanglement with one another and the living world. The project draws on the idea of interbeing: that nothing exists independently, and that our lives are woven together into larger cycles of decay, regeneration, and transformation. We are all connected.
“…connection to the fragile, miraculous fact of being alive…”
AFTERLIFE is part ritual, part playground, made in collaboration with some of Nashville’s most boundary-pushing creatives. With only 15 tickets available per showing and two performances per night, AFTERLIFE is designed to create deeply intimate, one-of-a-kind encounters. Wandering through constructed environments, guests will experience the many ways humans attempt to thwart, deny, or ritualize mortality – spaces that feel at once sacred and slightly unhinged. Each attendee’s journey will be unique, shaped by chance, curiosity, and proximity.
